Today was open house in the Technology Learning Center. We had great food thanks to Ms. LouAnn from the NACC Kahva Cafe.
The turn out was awesome and I am so excited about all the students that came by to check out the latest technologies. The center is designed for faculty, staff, and students to obtain personal technology assistance or as another location to work on or off line. We have 12 workstations running wireless as well as several laptops avaiable for use. We are also an Apple Showcase with an iPad and a MacBook.
Tomorrow begins summer training and learning for faculty as we prepare to move to Blackboard9 in the fall for our course management system.

Summer Faculty Training Schedule
Summer is here and almost over. We need to get some serious training in. Please look over the list and email me the session/date/time you would like to attend. You may find a better image on the training course Blackboard site. (blackboard9.nacc.edu) All training offered in the TLC count toward your 10 hour training course.
